Founder Story at IslandSoul Grand Cayman

Welcome to IslandSoul: A Journey of Adventure, Wellness, and Transformation

Hey. Iโ€™m Kieri. I started IslandSoul because I needed it to exist โ€” and I figured other people might need it too.

For over 25 years I climbed the corporate ladder, ticking every box I was told mattered. Good job. World travel. Busy social life. And underneath all of it, I was exhausted in a way that no holiday could fix.

So I stopped. Left my career, quit drinking, and set out to find something I couldnโ€™t quite name. I travelled to over 70 countries looking for it. Somewhere between a dive site in Southeast Asia and a sunrise on a beach Iโ€™d never heard of, I started to feel like myself again.

The ocean changed everything. I was terrified of it โ€” genuinely scared โ€” and somehow that fear became the doorway. I learned to dive, then to teach diving. Underwater, thereโ€™s no phone, no noise, no performance. Just breath and presence. That feeling became the blueprint for IslandSoul.

What IslandSoul Actually Is

Weโ€™re a human experience design platform based in Grand Cayman. Thatโ€™s a fancy way of saying: we design how people feel.

Sometimes that looks like sunrise breathwork on the beach. Sometimes itโ€™s a full-day festival with 80 local creators. Sometimes itโ€™s a quiet evening where strangers become friends over something as simple as sharing space together.

We donโ€™t do cookie-cutter wellness. We donโ€™t do passive participation. Everything we create is built around a simple question: how do you want to feel?

What Youโ€™ll Find Here

This blog is where we share what weโ€™re building, what weโ€™re learning, and the stories of people whoโ€™ve felt something shift โ€” even for a moment. Youโ€™ll find posts about our events, the island, wellness without the guru-speak, and the messy, honest journey of building something from the heart.

Whether youโ€™re in Grand Cayman or just curious about a different way of living, youโ€™re welcome here.

Come as you are. Thatโ€™s the whole point.

โ€” Kieri
