How IslandSoul Began
IslandSoul didn't come from a business plan. It came from a life that needed to change.
I spent years leading transformation for big organisations — helping other people change while running on empty myself. The burnout was real. Repeated, deep, and eventually undeniable.
A health retreat in Thailand cracked something open. Then came Grand Cayman — a new home, a fresh start. But it was a single conversation during a trip to Miami that changed everything. A friend looked at me and said:
So I did. I stopped, I healed, and alongside my best friend Michelle, I started creating new ways of living — connected, present, and joyful.
IslandSoul was born from that moment. Not from theory. From lived experience.
To mark the transformation, my sister Danielle gifted me a dragonfly necklace — symbolising change, adaptability, and self-realisation. It became the heart of our logo and a reminder that transformation is always possible.
