What Happens When You Take the Drinks Away
117 people. All here because they wanted to have fun without a drink in their hand. Turns out, that’s a lot of us.
When we started this community group, we weren’t sure what would happen. We just knew there were people on this island looking for something different — a way to connect, have a laugh, and feel good the next morning. So we created a space for it. Free events. No agenda. No pressure. Just show up.
What We’ve Been Up To
Sunset beach walks have become our thing. There’s something about walking along the shoreline as the sky turns gold, having the kind of conversation you don’t normally have with someone you just met. No rush. No awkwardness. Just the sound of the water and people being real with each other.
We’ve done game nights, creative sessions, and beach mornings too. Every event is different, but the feeling is the same — you walk away lighter than when you arrived.
Why It Works
This community has become something none of us expected. People who came to one event as strangers are now genuine friends. The kind who check in on each other, who make plans outside the group, who say things like “I didn’t know this existed and I really needed it.”
That’s not because we’re anti-alcohol. It’s because we’re pro-connection. When you take away the thing that usually fills the gaps, what’s left is actually better.
Come Along
We’ve got more events coming. Sunset walks, creative evenings, beach days, and a few surprises we’re still planning.
If you’re curious, just join the group. There’s no commitment, no sign-up fee, no rules about whether you drink or don’t in the rest of your life. This is simply a space where the fun doesn’t need a bar tab.
Come as you are. We’ll save you a spot on the sand.
