IslandSoul International Women’s Day – A Celebration of Connection and Empowerment

IslandSoul International Women’s Day

A Day That Felt Like Coming Home

Sixty women in a room. Some knew each other. Most didn’t. By the end of the afternoon, it didn’t matter — something had shifted.

There was this moment, early on, where the whole room went quiet during a guided meditation. And then someone laughed. And then everyone laughed. That’s when I knew the day was going to be different.

IslandSoul International Women’s Day was built around one idea: what happens when women gather in a space designed for connection, not performance? Turns out, something powerful.

Giving Back

Beyond the conversations and the wellness sessions, this day served a bigger purpose. Nearly $2,000 KYD was raised for local charities — supporting Girl Power Cayman and their work empowering young women through mentorship, education, and confidence-building.

It’s one thing to talk about women lifting each other up. It’s another to be in a room where it’s actually happening.

Thank You to Our Sponsors

This event wouldn’t have happened without our sponsors and host venue. Their support meant everything — not just financially, but because they believed in the kind of gathering this was. Genuine, purposeful, and designed to leave a mark.

How the Day Unfolded

The day was designed in zones — each one offering something different so everyone could follow what felt right. No schedule. No pressure. Just an invitation to explore.

Nova Zone: Conversations That Mattered

This was the heart of the day. Real conversations about career challenges, personal growth, and what it means to show up as yourself. Speakers shared stories that were honest and unpolished — the kind that make you nod and think, that’s me too.

Flow Zone: Moving and Breathing Together

Yoga sessions, guided breathwork, and mindfulness practices led by some of Grand Cayman’s most talented wellness practitioners. The Flow Zone was a place to slow down, reconnect with your body, and just breathe. Several people said it was the first time they’d truly stopped in months.

Creative Cove: Making Something Beautiful

Hands in paint. Beads on string. The Creative Cove was messy and joyful and exactly what a lot of people needed — permission to create something without worrying if it was good enough. Self-expression without judgement. That’s what IslandSoul is about.

DiveTech: The Ocean Connection

An opportunity to connect with the ocean through guided exploration and conversation about marine conservation. For some, it was their first time thinking about the sea as something to protect, not just admire. That shift in perspective is one of those quiet ripples that lasts.

Ending on a High Note

DJ Narah brought the energy for the final hour. A group dance session on the lawn, sunset light, and the kind of collective joy you can’t fake. People who’d been strangers that morning were dancing together like they’d known each other for years. That’s the magic.

Thank You

To everyone who came, donated, participated, and shared their energy — thank you. This day was proof that when women come together with intention, the ripple goes further than anyone expects.

Until next year. We’ll be here.

Come and feel it for yourself.
