How IslandSoul Cayman handles your information — in plain language.

Welcome. At IslandSoul Cayman, we believe your trust matters as much as the experiences we design. This Privacy Policy is our promise to be transparent about what we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it.

1. Who We Are

IslandSoul Cayman (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Human Experience Design platform based in the Cayman Islands. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information about visitors to islandsoulcayman.com and customers of our experiences, retreats, and bespoke services.

2. What Information We Collect

When you give it to us directly

  • Making a purchase or booking: name, email, phone, billing and delivery address, payment details (processed by our payment processor — we never hold your full card number).
  • Contacting us or filling a form: name, email, message content, and anything you share about your inquiry.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: name and email only.
  • Customer accounts: username, email, and a password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
  • Reviews and comments: name, email, optional website, and the content you write.

When we collect it automatically

  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, visit date and time.
  • Cookies and tracking technologies: see Section 6.
  • Analytics data: aggregated patterns through Google Analytics and similar tools.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfill your orders, bookings, and bespoke requests
  • Communicate with you about purchases, bookings, and inquiries
  • Send marketing communications only if you’ve opted in (unsubscribe any time)
  • Improve our website, services, and overall experience
  • Prevent fraud and protect our business and customers
  • Comply with legal obligations under Cayman Islands and applicable international law
  • Personalize your experience — for example, showing relevant offers

9. How We Protect Your Information

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Hashed password storage — never plain text
  • Access controls on our admin systems
  • Continuous security monitoring through Wordfence and SiteGround
  • Secure, ISO 27001-certified hosting
  • Routine backups to prevent data loss

No online system is 100% secure. If a data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we’ve collected information from a child, please contact us at hello@islandsoulcayman.com and we will delete it.

11. International Data Transfers

We are based in the Cayman Islands. Some of our providers (e.g., Google, Meta, Mailchimp, SiteGround) may store or process your information outside Cayman, including in the United States, United Kingdom, and European Union. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent protections.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email (if we have your address) or post a prominent notice on our website. The “Last Updated” date above tells you the most recent revision.
